Mission Statement

The mission of the Excellent Covenant Powerhouse Ministries Evangelism Team is to share the gospel of Christ and make disciples through individual and group evangelism. In addition, we will seek to help other Christians we come in contact with, to grow in their faith. We will accomplish these purposes through outreach services, prayer, and through developing vital relationships with others for the purpose of discipleship.

Vision

Our endeavor is to provide excellence in ministry, where the Word of God is taught with simplicity. Love is our motivation, fellowship is our bond, unity is our strength, faith in God is our guide, and soul winning is our purpose. We are also to make disciples who will be fruitful in the vineyard for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We believe the birth, life and resurrection of Jesus Christ who is the Son of God. We believe He was crucified on the cross ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father until the promise of His coming.

We believe in the rapture, that the Lord Himself will descend from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those that are alive will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord. [Paraphrase 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17]

We believe that after death, we will be judged according to our deeds on earth. We believe eternal life begins in Heaven or in Hades. We determine our destiny based on the decision to serve Him or deny Him according to God’s Word.

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe that the scriptures were written by godly men inspired by God. We believe in the infallibility of the scriptures and it was written for its intended purpose. The Bible is the living and written Word of God. We believe that faith is the Word of God in motion. [Paraphrase 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21]

We believe in divine Healing and Jesus Christ is the healer... “by His stripes we are healed.” [Isaiah 53:5]

We believe in tithing and bringing offerings unto the Lord so that the seed may bring forth good fruit and its harvest, by way of your local assembly. We believe in giving to and caring for the poor, needy, homeless, etc.

We believe in water baptism in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Name of Jesus and the Authority invested in His Name.

The Evangelism Ministry is composed of those that have a heart for God first and foremost, and then for His people. This ministry, just like any other, is designed to portray the love that Christ has for all mankind to include those are outside of the Kingdom as well. Patience is one of the fruits of the spirit that as Christians we are to have. Those that are working on the Evangelism team must have a sold out heart for God and His people.
