Our Vision

Excellent Covenant “Powerhouse” Ministries vision is to build the Kingdom of God according to His inspired word. God has placed a word in our hearts to birth forth a ministry that is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our purpose is to apply God’s word with love, faith, gentleness, kindness, peace and joy to all people; young, old, men, women, children, rich, poor and the willing.

Our faith base is teaching the principles of God’s word rightly dividing His word of Truth. We know that God wants His people to have power to go out into the ends of the earth to preach His word, The Gospel. Our desire is to seek God in hoisting up a generation of disciples to whom God has already predestined for His divine purpose. [Mark 16:15] And he said unto them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

This is a nondenominational church. Driven by praying, fasting, holy living and bible believing, Full Gospel Church, established on the foundation of the Prophets and Apostles, where application of all spiritual gifts work and distribute through believers as He, The Holy Spirit wills. [I Corinthians 12:11] “But all these worketh that one and the self same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”

We endeavor to provide excellence in ministry that will highly merit the Word of God that is taught with simplicity and sincerity. Love is our motivation; Fellowship is our bond and soul winning our purpose to make disciples who will be fruitful in the vineyard for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. [Hebrews 8:6] “But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, but how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”

Our Beliefs

We believe the birth, life and resurrection of Jesus Christ who is the Son of God. We believe He was crucified on the cross ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father until the promise of His coming.

We believe in the rapture, that the Lord Himself will descend from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those that are alive will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord. [Paraphrase I Thessalonians 4:16, 17] “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

We believe that after death eternal, we will be judged according to our deeds on earth. We believe eternal life begins in Heaven or in Hades. We determine our destiny based on the decision to serve Him or deny Him according to God’s Word. We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe that the scriptures were written by godly men inspired by God. We believe in the infallibility of the scriptures and it was written for its intended purpose. The Bible is the living and written Word of God. We believe that faith is the Word of God in motion. [II Timothy 3:16] “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” [II Peter 1:21] “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”

We believe in divine Healing and Jesus Christ is the healer, “…by His stripes we are healed.” [Isaiah 53:5] “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

We believe in tithing and bringing offerings unto the Lord so that the seed may bring forth good fruit and its harvest, by way of your local assembly. We believe in charitable giving and caring for the poor, needy, homeless, etc.

We believe in water baptism in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Name of Jesus and the Authority invested in His Name.
